Kaya Sushi – Jan 15th

Posted by Shannon on 01/18/2011

Saturday dinner date! Kaya Sushi in El Segundo is a fun, local place for dinner or lunch. Reasons include sexy lighting/ambiance, thick/fresh cuts of sashimi, five menu pages of sushi rolls, and of course, “giving a gong” on the way out if you enjoyed your meal.

The volcano roll comes out afire! Spicy tuna, avocado, white fish, eel sauce and red/black roe on top.

The bibimbap roll is marinated spinach, carrots, mushrooms, cucumber, bean sprouts w/ Korean style marinated beef and a quail egg. All comes out on a sizzling hot plate.

Dessert, my fav! Cheesecake with multi-color mochi on top, chocolate filled Pocky  and two kinds of ice cream on the side. Gratis and with a nice message written in chocolate sauce.
